I NEED A VACATION

I wake up with a sinking feeling because of my to-do list got longer than I expected during this trip. Yes I’m overwhelmed.

Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. Our brains conjure up worst-case scenarios, which in turn scares us and makes us think it’s not possible to succeed.

Yes it is difficult to strategically plan your schedule to ease stress if you live in Egypt, but nothing is impossible. I tried as much as possible to plan events accordingly.

I woke up early everyday since I arrived with my heart racing thinking of the things I left undone.

My vision was for long (solo) walks, refreshing reading, deep conversations with my friends.  What was I thinking?!

To finish official papers in Egypt, you need many days, so now I’m planning for a real vacation while I’m having one. Lolllll

In the end I’m enjoying what I’ve got.  I’m sitting most of my time under the sun because it is rare to feel its warmth in Sweden during the xmas period.

SUNNY DAY IN EGYPT

Good evening babes! This is how I feel under the Egyptian sun.

I couldn’t sleep so peacefully. Drivers here use their horn constantly and often honk just to greet each. Lolllll I kept counting the many car horns!!

I wake up with huge headache to find the haze is covering the city but then the sun to greet me, Yaaaay. I went for a walk and half way through it I met some friends.

I can’t explain how much I was longing to see the sun. Some places here have magical views, beautiful sunset and nice food.

Today I was shocked from some news I received in the morning but even in the darkest moments I’m trying to look for light. I believe it will work out in a way or another, not sure how but I will stay positive.

I’m no optimistic neither pessimistic, I rather to call myself realistic, I live the now, dream big, work hard on these dreams but also think of the “what if” moments.

For now I will go for dinner with my Italian friends and have a glass of wine with them to relax and boost my mood 🙂

Dressing for cold, oh tell me about it. I think that dressing for the dark days should not be depressing.

At this time of year especially in Sweden, great layering is the key. Finding a good coat is a big investment.

When it comes to winter outfits and as many have been asking me, yes I like mixing up sassy faux fur or army jackets with midi skirt or a jeans.

But soon I’m back home, I’m flying to  Egypt! With a full memory card in my camera and a great love for sunny days. Oh Ma Gosh my skin miss vitamin D and I need some tan too.
