Stockholm has a number of great number of swimming pools indoors and outdoors  – some with water parks, as well as a few that are a bit further afield but that are well worth the journey.

Today I was planning to go enjoy a swimming pool inside one of those luxuries hotels, but I ended up enjoying the sun at Eriksdalsbadet which is Sweden’s National Swimming Hall where they have four outdoor pools that allows you to swim outside in summer.

Swedish summer is not like the Egyptian summer but it was time to chill under the sun, eat loads of fresh cherries and drink a lot of sparkling water.

PASSPORT TO SUMMER

Cairo summer vibes are amazing so after the daytime chilling under the sun, I’m going dancing ’till dawn.

After living in Sweden for some time now, summer holidays means washing and preparing those favourite pieces which were hidden away.

When I was young I didn’t really care about clothes as I was a tomboy in everything I do. But the more I grow older the more I see myself as a fashion junkie. I love Chanel and Dior though I can’t afford them, but I’m also in love with the Other Stories, H&M, WEEKDAY. Still Zara is my favourite. I buy clothes from different brands as long as I’m in love with the piece.

The red carpet culture has always taught us to celebrate perfection, but the in the now and in the social media age, people yearn more and more for something human. We saw how people celebrate a non skinny model.

Yes there is a shift towards celebrating beauty which that’s not stereotypical.

I feel super happy when I see brands or stores in Sweden acknowledging every type of woman.

But for now I will celebrate my time under the sun and I will enjoy it till the maximum.

When should you visit Sweden?

They say when it comes to weather, the ideal time to visit Sweden is during summer which usually during July and August.

However summer seems to be arriving early to Sweden this year and Thanks MAY for such an amazing weather.

Yes I finally can walk around with bare legs  and a T-shirt in Stockholm!

At this time, all the cafes and most attractions, including open-air museums, are open, having tables to lunch and dine in the open air to enjoy the sun.

Since it was a bit of long weekend for me, I have been out and about walking around the city, discovering new places and enjoying the beautiful sun!

Lately, I have been enjoying my time with Miley the dog. So nice. 🙂

I’m always the happiest girl on earth around animals, they make me laugh, active and they give my self-esteem a kick. Maybe because the unconditional love they shower me with, or the fact that they’re completely nonjudgmental about me or my lifestyle.

I’m in love with Miley the dog. She is super sweet that I couldn’t get enough of her.

Summer is the most expensive time to fly to Sweden, as it is the peak season, but if you are here already then you are just so lucky to enjoy that amazing weather.

Hope you all tanned as much as me. Hahahaha
