Oh yeah it was a sunny ⓌⒺⒺⓀ – ⒺⓃⒹ ..

Even though you might feel like a zombie when you crawl out of bed in the morning, it’s still going to be the best time to give anything your full attention – after you’re fully awake that is!

Boom Boom yesterday I wake up early to join my cupcake Jamie Sallmén Cardio Walking class which is gonna be every Saturday at 10.00 AM at Nordic Wellness Odenplan in Stockholm, Sweden.

I’m always looking for ways to work smarter, not just harder. Everyone knows that you’ll only lose weight if ultimately you consume less calories than you burn. That’s why I love Jamie’s class because walking first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is one of the best tips on how to naturally jumpstart and boost your metabolism.

After the gym, we (me, Jamie and Sara) went for a healthy lunch at “Reload Super Food Bar”. Relaod is a place where you can load and reload with super healthy and super tasty dishes, snacks and choices made with carefully selected ingredients.

Need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city? Looking for a beach in Stockholm?

Later on, we headed to Fredhällsbadet (Location: Kungsholmen, T-bana Kristineberg).

This place is worth a visit if you just want a picnic on the cliffs or are an experienced swimmer. With views over lake Mälaren, this is a haven for those seeking refuge from noisy children and they really take their bathing experience seriously – there’s even a club.

If you live in Sweden you may notice a difference in atmosphere during summer months. On these warm summer days you will find most Swedes enjoying their long summer holidays either abroad or soaking up the rays at one of the many Swedish beaches.

The day ended with my little Shisha (Hookah), which was a fun way to relax at home. Hookah has a long, rich history in the Middle East. In these countries smoking shisha is a real ritual that symbolizes friendship and brotherhood. A relaxing break with friends, to be lived comfortably at home or more often in dedicated spaces and coffee shops.

Oh what a fun day! So how was your weekend?

xoxo
