When we are in the middle of crisis, we tend to overthink every little thing until it becomes bigger and we feel that it is the end. But the beginning of our future begins from a previous phase.

You know there are lessons to learn from every crises and that is an opportunity not to miss. So calm down and think clearly.

Never let anyone to put you down and never let go of your dreams.

In the end it is more important to be respected than liked!

LIFE IN THE NOW

Sometimes I look to my body and remember my twenties, but I probably feel more confident now.

Happiness isn’t something that is naturally bestowed upon people. It takes effort, and a willingness to focus on positive thinking, but your hard work will pay off.

Happiness is an inside job. You look beautiful and young but sometimes you don’t feel it. And even if people can give you a compliment, only you can make yourself feel that you beautiful.

Most of us – women – grew up believing models were perfect, and that we didn’t measure up to them.

We keep striving to fit into the size 8 skinny jeans and try squeezing ourselves into dresses one size painfully smaller. It seems that we didn’t notice that we have been punishing ourselves for not fitting into the standard norm of the perfect vital statistics and body structures.

Fashion industry should admit that they don’t make clothes to fit REAL women!!

Mannequins should represent healthy life bodies and help to boost women’s body image and self-confidence when shopping, because what really matters is a healthy body and a clear mind.

Be what you want to be and LOVE your body!

MY FIRST MIDSUMMER FUN NIGHT

Jasmine ElnadeemIMG_4957

My first Midsummer in Sweden was just Purrrrrfect with my friends 🙂

Though the day was raining in the morning but it ended up as a sunny one in the afternoon.

Swedes celebrate the longest day of the year with family members and friends in the countryside. They keep singing, drinking alcohol and eating traditional swedish food prepared by almost everyone.

Pickled herring is a particular favourite during this season. Also strawberries and the lingonberries are quite popular in the summer and they are usually consumed in the form of cake or cream.

In agrarian times, Midsummer celebrations in Sweden were held to welcome the summertime and the season of fertility.

Flower wreaths are a common motif in Midsummer gatherings. You can find revelers of all genders wearing these garlands. Mine was not real but it was a pretty one which I will keep on my mirror as a positive sign.

Here you can see my mini towering maypole – it is usually a huge one, so people can dance around it – which is an iconic symbol of Midsummer celebrations.
