A Stroll In Copenhagen

I have never been to Denmark before so it was nice to go from Malmö to Copenhagen to stroll a bit, though I’ll definitely hop on two wheels the next time I’m there.

Me and my boyfriend decided to start with visiting the Christiansborg Palace. OMG so impressive, it was extremely wonderful to visit the royal palace. Really very beautiful and luxury palace and the Great Hall is the most imposing room in the palace. This is where you will find the Queen’s tapestries.

After that we went to fika with a friend at The Kompa’ 9 coffee bar on Strædet where we had organic coffee, and some typical danish food. Strange combination but really tasty 🙂

Then we decided to walk more and explorer the city, I really fell in love with the downtown, it feels bigger than Stockholm and much more alive. Hahahaha I want to move there already.

Copenhagen had a very relaxed, welcoming vibe which extended throughout the all aspects of the culture.

A short but very fun trip. But l’m planning for another trip to see more of Copenhagen

Coffee, Angel Gingerbread – Fabriques Butiker

Happy Sunday!! Time passes so quickly. How crazy Ha?!

Last week I attended “Saint Lucia” concert at Katarina kyrka (Church of Catherine) in Stockholm for the first time.

Yes, one of Sweden’s most famous and popular festivals is Lucia. It is celebrated every year on December 13 that is also the Lucia name day. I had the opportunity to see Lucia coming with song and music in the absolute darkest time of the year. The Christmas spirit doesn’t get any better than that.

It was also nice to visit the Christmas market in Gamla Stan, where we found a lot of Swedish Christmas sweets, smoked sausages, smoked reindeer, elk meat, handmade knitted hats, candy floss and glögg (mulled wine).

Yesterday I decided to work even more on my Christmas vibes and put my first Xmas tree on. Little cute one!

Undoubtedly, Christmas can be one of the most celebrated yet equally stressful times of the year especially for those who didn’t even think of shopping for Xmas.

Yesterday I’ve almost finished all my holiday shopping, found some great deals, still our food for Christmas day is not ready yet to be cooked.

Tomorrow I will be spending the whole day celebrating Xmas with my colleagues and I’m super excited and looking forward for it.

Today I’m chillaxing in bed then gonna meet my friends to enjoy some Egyptian food and open some early Christmas gifts ❤ Talk later, kisses and hugs!

It is not even my birthday yet but I decided to escape the rainy Stockholm on the weekend and treat myself and my boyfriend with a nice spa at Yasuragi.

OMG I didn’t think that the place is so nice till I saw it and then I was blown away. I didn’t even know that Stockholm has such a fine gem.

We went to Hasseludden with the boat to find our hotel which was surrounded with a pretty forest.

Imagine the rainy weather, and the cold temperate then imagine yourself swimming in the pool or one of the hot springs outside overlooking the forest and the Baltic Sea.

I loved the concept of “COME AS YOU ARE”, as upon your arrival you’re given your yukata – the cotton Japanese robe – along with a pair of slippers and a swimsuit. That’s intended to be your clothing during your stay, and you’re totally encouraged to wear it for everything including mealtimes. Awww it was so comfy indeed.

I had a massage, we used the sauna, the steam room, had an amazing healthy Japanese dinner, then I went for a body scrub and a face massage. Believe me I slept like a baby and felt so much energized.

Today I love my Monday but I’m sure that soon I will be longing for a night of “PEACE & QUIET” like that 🙂

Hope y’all enjoyed your weekend! XOXO
