ROOFTOP SUMMER SPINNING

You have cycled in the dark and have cycled outside. But have you ever done it on a rooftop with the entire city surrounding you?

OMG today I did it and it was an amazing workout with a great energy and a big smile on my face.

The URBAN DELI is hosting an URBAN RIDE POP UP on the ROOFTOP where you can sweat, cycle, breath some fresh air and enjoy the great view of Stockholm city.

The Urban Ride team packed up the bikes and took them up to the roof. Hats off to a great effort indeed. We found our towels, shoes and weights ready for us.

Join us tomorrow morning, and believe me the beautiful setting will help you through, as the great music, the tough-but-fair instructor and the bunch of incredibly stylish sporty women will be cycling around you.

Sunset view over Slussen

Many of the narrow, cobblestone alleys in Gamla Stan are car free, making a walk around the Old Town a pleasure.

BUT today I went for a better view to see Slussen and Gamala Stan from Katarinahissen “The Katarina Elevator”, which connects Slussen to the heights of Södermalm and offers the best panoramic overview of the city.

I was lucky that today was one of those sunny days in Stockholm.

Later on I went for a great day down town, I did some shopping and got the Silk Curling Wand from Remington, then ate “Fish & Chips” at The Liffey, the best Irish bar in town.

It feels great to have a calm and relaxing weekend, to rest and get ready for a new week with tons of work.

Snaps Stockholm

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is a remarkably beautiful city; also known as the “Venice of the North”. The city is built on 14 islands, all connected by over 53 bridges that allow travelling between the various neighbourhoods.

Here’s a throwback to my last trip to Stockholm, Sweden.
