Beautiful sunset in Cairo, Egypt

What a great time of year to have the opportunity to come back to my hometown, from the snow to the sunshine and palm trees! On top of that a chance to connect and network with some of my besties, old and new friends.

Yesterday I had my last day in Cairo before heading back to Stockholm and since the sun was shining, I decided to go for a last walk around the city.

My morning started with a breakfast at Pottery Cafe in Zamalek, then I went to have lunch with my family before I headed into town to take some photos of the sun. Vacay days flew so fast!!

When I got back it was time to pack my bags, have dinner with my friends, say goodbye and leave to the airport. So sad to say goodbye to those awesome friends.. But I will definitely see you soon!

From the flight I saw Stockholm covered  in snow like a winterland. So, another day with lots of snow and Cold! Ohhhhh I wish I could turn back in time and feel the sun on my face again.

Stockholm is that city which never stops, even in the middle of a snow storm. This year we have quite a cold winter.

Counting down to Christmas feels pretty anyway.

Now I will go to see my Swedish friends, and have some quality time with before the weekend finish.

Hugs & XOXO

EARLY SNOWFALL

Jasmine Elnadeem

Today morning, It felt like winter already in Stockholm with early snowfall.

Been lazy and tired since I wake up and I had a headache can kill a small elephant, but guess it’s because of my early mornings and some stressful days.

After my office hours I went for some training and I’m already sore in my body but I booked a workout for tomorrow.

Lolllll they say the best way to get rid of the pain is to workout/move around even more. So I’m gonna join the “Ride + Abs + Ass” workout at Urban Ride. Could barely walk haha!

Time for me to make it comfy in bed and fall asleep while a tv serie is on, talk tomorrow ❤

WHO IS…YAYOI KUSAMA?

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist who is sometimes called ‘the princess of polka dots’. Although she makes lots of different types of art – paintings, sculptures, performances and installations – they have one thing in common…dots!

Suffering from an obsessive compulsive disorder affected her relationship with her family, Kusama moved to New York City in the ’50s, using every bit of money she had to buy canvases and paint.

“I was always hungry and cold. I wanted to die but kept painting.” Her dedication and hard workings eventually led her to worldwide recognition.

They say when you can overcame dark days with the power of art, and I was lucky to have a beautiful heart in my life who took me to that great exhibition.

Activities like painting, sculpting or drawing, and photography can be very relaxing and rewarding hobbies that can lower your stress levels and leave you feeling mentally clear and calm.

You don’t need to create paintings to distract yourself, visiting art places art can give your brain a break from your usual thoughts.

Have a lovely Sunday y’all, J
