Healthy food can be expensive and having a healthy breakfast at cafe everyday is not an option for me.
However, there are many ways to save money and still eat whole, single-ingredient foods.
Healthy smoothies are an awesome way to pack tons of nutrition into a delicious treat that you can enjoy anywhere and anytime.
In the morning I look for a filling and flavorful boost of energy and in the end of the month I don’t afford to buy a smoothie everyday, so I decided to make my own healthy smoothie.
- 250ml Water
- 1 frozen banana
- 60g blackberries
- 60g raspberries
- 200g Strawberries
- 1 teaspoon acai powder
- 1 scoop protein powder
- Pumpkin seeds
- Dried berries
- Chia seeds

Being an adult is a full-time job, and guess what, you not gonna be younger but on some days you can feel younger.
Today my friend Jamie took me for a late lunch date at Babel Deli, oh yeah I wanted to eat in that restaurant for months and today I was finally there.
I had a plate of my own mixed meze with falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, stuffed vine leaves and salad.
I don’t need to say a lot, It was amazing. The place is a piece of home in Stockholm, the taste of heaven and it just made me happy. So if you are passing by – make a stop, and believe me, you will not regret that!
Besides the food, the interior design had a nice, fresh style, and the staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to ordering.
Babel Deli – Middle Eastern cuisine – serves super delicious mixed oriental food and very generous portion.
I think it is gonna be one of my fav food spots in Stockholm, and I will go back to try everything else from their menu as soon as I get the chance 🙂

Crazy summer and hot weather push you to go for light food and crave more fruits.
Prickly pears are the magenta-coloured fruit of the prickly pear cactus. It is the season to find them around. The cactus fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C and magnesium as well as a good source of fiber.
Depending on the variety, the taste can differ. The red ones are sweet and crispy with a watermelon/strawberry/kiwi flavor while the yellowish one has a sweet, tropical flavor. It is very refreshing and the texture is very pleasant.
Good, invigorating and sweet way to start everyday!!!
