Is It Okay If I’ll Call You Mine?!

I will never say never to a trend. I have some favourite colours like block, purple, pink and royal blue but I can’t see myself in the same colour or style cage all the time because I love my freedom.

Im a very moody person and my style changes according to my mood. One day I’m very feminine and the other day I’m very boyish. Hahahaha 😉

I’ve worn this dress a lot this summer – totally in love with it. Soon it is Midsummer’s celebration in Sweden! It’s a tradition to hang out by the water. I have never been in Sweden during the celebration, but my friend is gonna take me out to celebrate my first Mid-Summer. Oh Yaaaay!!

It will be much fun to hang out with friends and Miley the dog. I’m so excited already.

Go On, Relax A Little ãƒ„

When I’m exhausted, I usually gravitate toward activities that drain me even more. But we deserve to take a break, so i decided not to ignore my body’s whispers for rest. Today was time to relax and chill.

Antonio&Ophelia I listened to music, played with my cats “Antonio & Ophelia” and I can say that this quality time was so much pleasurable.

Today was all about recharging, having breakfast in bed, meal plan for the next week, I went to gym, and I had a new nail-polish. The idea was to give my body, mind, and heart a chance to relax and recharge. I owe myself the gift of a deep breath and a view of the long sunset.

After all, we can’t increase the number of hours in the day, but we can increase the quality of those hours.

Zamalek .. Walking Tour

Zamalek

As I have been struggling with the summer flu for more than 10 days, I decided to explore and wander the island of Zamalek.

The island is known to be one of Cairo’s most affluent neighbourhoods and is a popular spot for both Egyptians and expats alike.

Because of the high density of embassies around it is also one of the safest neighbourhoods.

Zamalek is reachable through several bridges namely; Qasr al-Nil Bridge, 6th of October Bridge and 15th of May Bridge. 

I found out that the streets in Zamalek have changed names over time though many of us still ask taxi drivers for the old names which still popular.

The good thing of walking around the island is that you can enjoy the Nile view. 

Zamalek is a popular place to go out with numerous cafés and restaurants when you need to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea or lunch and dinner.

Around the Om Kalthoum area of Zamalek, where the legendary singer’s villa once stood and a statue of her remains today, I love to hangout at Pottery Cafe.

The atmosphere in Zamalek nowadays is very relaxed and it is one of the few areas in Cairo where strolling in the street is enjoyable, with lots of trees and greenery around.
