Not dieting .. It is a healthy journey!!

ABS

I gained some kilos extra during xmas and new year long holiday – me in “before” pic – then I started the #bfit3 on Monday 12/1/2015, and the “after” pic is taken yesterday on Thursday 16/1/2015 πŸ™ˆπŸ˜

The truth is, I didn’t lose any lbs as I was hoping. I kept asking myself yesterday:Β Am I not flexing? I don’t have a six pack yet. Am I depressed? Do I feel fat? Do I feel insecure?!

NOO, not at all. I am on a lifelong journey, not a crash diet phase. The journey I’m on is about being healthy and loving myself whether I have a six pack or a little bit of baby ABS. Can you see my baby ABS?!

Everyday I try my best to live a balanced lifestyle and try to pick up, move on and not give up.

Yes with social media in our face everyday showing pictures of “perfect” bodies it’s sometimes hard to love ourselves but I’m taking it step by step and one day I will look my best. I’m gonna celebrate this baby ABS and remind myself that my journey is just that, trying to make that best better than yesterday.

I will work my butt off to get there but today I love myself and I’m just as confident with my body as I will be when I reach my goal.

What do you do when you have a bad hair day?!

IMG_7776 When your hair doesn’t do what you want it to, you feel furstrated. Grrrrrr. No one wants to feel uncomfortable about their hair! Right?!
So what do you do when you have a bad hair day?!
Personally I put a cap on when my hair is less than cooperative.

As some may know that women born in MENA like me can’t do many things in their life with the excuse that they are girls. So long time ago I shaved my hair completely .. YES I did, and told my mom “NOW I’m a boy” and that’s how I built a relationship with caps.

Hats/caps are an easy and stylish way to cover up if you’re having a bad hair day, if sweating at gym mess up your hair or if you just didn’t have enough time to wash your hair.

Make Peace with the Scale!!

Finding my happy weight is less about the numbers and more about a lifestyle that I can maintain!!

I have gained some kilos and my ABS almost disappeared during the long X-mas and New Year holiday “which will end on Sunday” BUT my personal trainer said that I can lose those extra kilos quickly. I hope I can do this!!!!

On Monday 12th January 2015 I will be following my new customized food and training plan which has been put together by my PT David Seisay.

I will be also part of the #bfit3 challenge, so I’m already excited!!

I feel that my exercise routine have fizzled during this holiday. The challenge is to get back to gym, rebuild my ABS to make them strong again and develop the lower ones. This time I would love to have more defined ABS.

These are my honest photos before and after the Xmas holiday.

I will reclaim my motivation to drive those extra kilos away, improve my flexibility to help myself endure the rigors of daily routine.

These days I’m studying my new exercises, planning, shopping, preparing and cooking my food to be ready.

I’m now fitter than before so I believe that this time mission/challenge will be easier than before with 100% commitment and no more excuses!!

I believe that I can do it again because I now know that results can be so addictive!!!!

Follow my transformation and wish me luck!!!
