FRIDAY SMOOTHIE

IMG_6573

Healthy food can be expensive and having a healthy breakfast at cafe everyday is not an option for me.

However, there are many ways to save money and still eat whole, single-ingredient foods.

Healthy smoothies are an awesome way to pack tons of nutrition into a delicious treat that you can enjoy anywhere and anytime.

In the morning I look for a filling and flavorful boost of energy and in the end of the month I don’t afford to buy a smoothie everyday, so I decided to make my own healthy smoothie.

Recipe:

  • 250ml Water
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 60g blackberries
  • 60g raspberries
  • 200g Strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon acai powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder

TOPPINGS

  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Dried berries
  • Banana
  • Chia seeds

Have a lovely pinkish Fri-yay. Mwah, J

SWEAT ON THE GO

Jasmine ElnadeemJasmine ElnadeemJasmine Elnadeem

As you noticed, I completely adore travelling. Living in Sweden has been a very tough experience to me.

My emotions which I prefer to hide are going out of control, so I need a vacation soon to stop thinking of evil things. Hahahaha 🙂

I love to travel to hot places so I make sure to stay hydrated!

During my vacation – which was so good to be true – or during my work, I have a lot of things going on so it’s important for me to make a habit of getting my workout done either first thing in the morning or immediately after my office hours.

You know that in your thirties strength training can help you build muscle and produce more human growth hormone, both of which keep your metabolism running as fast as it did when you were 20.

Lately I have been making sure to train every week for 3/4 days a week. I organized my calendar, set my alarm and lay out my clothes next to my bed the night before so I can get into them as quickly as possible if my training in the morning or to feel ready if my training is in the afternoon.

I think that even a light workout is better than nothing.

Work_hardWho do you sweat?

I sweat myself.

Where will you sweat?

This week I will sweat at Urban Ride and FightBox

When will you sweat?

This week I will sweat after my office hours, but from next week I will sweat in the morning to avoid  the too many excuses which can be found once the day goes on!

How will you sweat?

I’ll sweat doing cycling, core exercises and boxing.

Why do you usually sweat?

I sweat because I’ve seen the rewards that working out brings physically & mentally to me. I sweat because I want to keep a balanced lifestyle and I want to look after my body and there’s nothing like the endorphins rush that goes during and after the training.

Stay motivated, LOVE, J

Cycling Throw Stockholm

Jasmine ElnadeemJasmine ElnadeemJasmine Elnadeem

Finally I took my bicycle and took a ride from Bromma till Gamla Stan.

OH YEAH BABY, You already have more willpower than you think.

Cardio can be your true love if you find your fitness match.

I’m no runner though I used to run for some years but never loved running.

I choose to cheat on my routine occasionally.

Lately I found happiness when I grab hold of the handlebar of bicycle and hit the road.

It is no secret that riding torches calories, tones your legs and it is easier on your joints than running.

It all started when I started cycling with the Urban Ride indoors and now I’m cycling also outdoors.

When I feel anxious, I get panic attacks which are not fun. I found that riding takes my mind away even if it is for 45 min. It boosts my mood and strength my positive thoughts.

What about you? What is your favorite type of cardio?!

LOVE, J
