LET’s GET PHYSICAL

Since the Christmas and New Year holidays I had a minimum move and ate like a pig all the food and leftovers from noon till night without feeling guilty.

Now I’m back to hit the gym hardly aiming to balance between my moves and my diet.

I’m not really into running so I do my cardio in other ways and sometimes 30 min of a cardio can be enough to energize my body then I move to another type of exercise.

Urban Ride Stockholm

Last week I had the chance to try the first Ride + Twerk class at Urban Ride together with Linda and Jacqueline from Enough Dance Crew.

My general health goals is to feel physically and mentally strong and balanced. I want to try go back swimming but being a swimmer till the age of 18 makes me hesitate to start again.

In the end I’m happy that I keep moving here and there and sometimes I’m everywhere 😉

This year I decided not to write a resolution for the new year. Whether the past was a good one or bad, I don’t want it to hold me back.

I’m gonna let my past be a stepping stones to my next success – not an anchor in which I think I have to stay. It’s time to get over the past, no matter how good or bad, and start focusing on the future.

My past helps me to relate and connect to more people what will helps me to make decisions today that will dictate my future!

In 2016 I had the chance to enjoy life and travel around, meet old and new friends and reconnect with my inner peace.

I kiss 2016 a goodbye kiss and hopefully 2017 will bring me the best possible outcome.

Positive thinking was a huge part of my success during 2016. I created a positive thought that I wanted to become real in my life and worked hard to bring it to my life.

I did dare to dream big. Think big and not let negative people discourage me.

You know that the great achievers have a habit of seeing things. They work on their dreams to achieve them. They speak about their dreams to many people because the moment they continually say them, the moment they begin to believe them more and more.

My tip to myself and to you is not to stop dreaming, work hard on your dreams and when you have reached your goals, make sure to enjoy that success as much as you can. Be positive ★

XOXO

When my alarm goes on, I don’t snooze. I get up, feed the cats, clean their sand, then brush teeth, shower, shave my legs and armpits.

Today while I was on the metro (tunnelbana, in Swedish) I was thinking that growing up was not an easy thing. Hahahaha don’t grow up guys!!

In my family I had to fight and stand up for my rights, for equality and for being a curious human, for example I was the last to ride a bike because my father taught my brother and depended on him to teach me, but that never happen till my dad realized that my younger sister and rest of my friends can cycle except me.

I was a very quite kid that it was shocking to my family that the quite girl is rebelling against all the rules. I decided to follow my dreams.

I come from Egypt and “NO” my family are not that open minded as many think or might take for granted because of my lifestyle.

Before the age of fifteen I knew that my dream was not to find the Prince Charming but, to build a career, develop my studies and be an independent girl/woman.

Be Bold: Your mind is strong so don’t be afraid to say NO. I said that to myself over and over again till I said NO!!

I paid the price of choosing a different road than the traditional one, I was hurt, but I grow up and never regretted choosing that way.

When people ask me, would you do it again if the time goes back?!

YESSSSS, I would choose the same road without hesitation, because every single mistake and every single success built the woman I’m today.

Despite all the moments that apparently made me adult, turning 30 (I’m 32 years old) can be frightening because it is about the “now” or “never” moments.

Of course there is nothing such as never but it is all about how we were raised up, how we grow old before living our youth moments.

The age of 30 is when most of people expect you to be a wife or mother, it all about the moment you dress in white.

Being a wife, being a mom, or even choosing to share a life with a partner is a choice and not having kids doesn’t make you less. Some people choose to raise kids and others (like me) choose to raise cats and sometimes dogs or  even fluffy rabbits 😉

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF & BE YOU!! J
